We’re currently seeking an Electrical Supervisor to be responsible for the day-to-day line management of mobile electrical operatives. You will take charge of the contractual management of any associated sub-contractors that deliver electrical repairs within our customers’ homes and/or within empty homes (voids). You will deliver a service which understands the needs of our customers and delivers a positive outcome for them. You’ll ensure our workforce have the right tools, equipment, and materials to do the job. You will proactively plan and ensure adequate resources are in place to deliver an efficient service and be the appointed as qualified supervisor under the NICEIC approved contractor scheme. We’d love to meet someone with: Substantial experience in supervisory position within property maintenance or similar service (experienced electricians wanting to move into a supervisory role may be considered). An organised approach to work, with a positive attitude and able to manage time effectively and efficiently. Ability to inspire, lead and create teams. To be able to be positively challenge and promote continuous improvement. A strong, demonstrable commitment to excellence in customer service and partnership working with colleagues across the organisation. Qualified to EAS (electrotechnical assessment specification) standard as a minimum. NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation and AM2. Certificate in Electrical Installation Parts 1 and 2 (or approved equivalent). C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing Certificate. C&G Certificate 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations OR such other qualification(s) as laid down from time to time by the JIB. Full clean driving licence.
