About the role:
In this role you will support the timely and efficient production of all our global promotional and non-promotional materials in support of all our products and business objectives. You will also be pivotal in assisting local commercial teams in the translation, approval and localisation of approved global materials.
A real team player, you will work collaboratively within the Digital Marketing team, Strategic Marketing, Medical and Commercial teams globally and locally and external partners to ensure that content is produced on time and on budget, it is of high quality and optimised for channel and target audience.
You will be committed to meeting the highest editorial standards and compliance, with a keen eye for detail and excellent time and project management skills to reach targets and deadlines. You will be dealing with multiple projects, often with conflicting and changing deadlines.
You should be comfortable drafting and editing awesome creative briefs, editing copy, preparing metadata, where necessary design materials, allocate and liaising with internal and external resources and agencies and generally collaborating across the business to get materials delivered, used and optimised.
Taking full ownership of our content operations, you will be responsible for ensuring all forms of content, including human and AI-generated content, are optimised for conversions and aligned with our brand mission and to brief objectives.
You will need experience of using publishing software and digital asset management platforms.
You need to be a great communicator to keep all stakeholders involved and up to date on their projects and being able to optimise resource allocation to meet deadlines and delivery on objectives. Curious in testing new formats and channels to produce impactful content, the role requires experience of content production and review process in the pharmaceutical sector.
Data driven and creative, you will be able to manage projects effectively.
Main responsibilities & duties:
6. Project manage the creation of impactful materials, including but not limited to emails, detail aids (IVAs), websites, social media, patients' leaflets and materials, banners, iPDFs, leave pieces, conference materials and much more for multiple products
7. Ownership and continued improvement of our editorial and content operations processes, ensuring Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practice documentation is enforced and continually maintained/optimised
8. Manage content production schedules and deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content.
9. Lead in driving risk mitigation by identifying and communicating quality, budget, and timeline impacts
10. Structure and co-ordinate internal and external status/ touchpoints- fostering effective communication and collaboration across teams to improve content production
11. Support a cross-functional team to maximise quality, output, and conversion and engagement rates from our content operations
12. Ensure all published content is systematically reviewed and optimised for accuracy, engagement - ensuring quality, productivity, and cost optimisation.
13. Lead on exploring new and intuitive ways to surface content to target audiences
14. Be the internal points of contact for our global and local teams on content production
15. Work with the Director of Digital Marketing in supporting the accessibility and adopting of materials produced by the content operations
16. In collaboration with the global Strategic Marketing team, source, contract, brief and manage freelancers and agencies
17. Represent the Digital Marketing team within the wider business, ensuring each department has the knowledge they need to succeed and ensuring any training materials on processes on content production are adequately created and disseminated
About you:
Candidates with at least 2 years' experience in project management or content operations, within pharmaceutical/healthcare marketing, are likely to have the skills required to be successful in this role. We are also looking for:
18. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Design, or a related field
19. Project Management qualifications desirable
20. Great IT skills including full MS Office package
21. Proven experience with design tools (Adobe CS, Canva, etc)
22. Experience in digital and print content design and production
23. Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
24. Proven ability to work cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
25. Experience building process, project management and schedules
26. Experience using Digital Asset Management and Content Management systems
27. Strong design and editing skills
28. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
29. Highly organised with strong problem solving skills
30. Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
31. Experienced in leading and managing teams of editors/writers/content creators and designers
32. Proactive, can-do attitude, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
33. Excellent professional communication skills, both written and verbal
