Term-Time Nursery Manager Addlestone (KT15 2AR) £20,000-£23,000 salary, inclusive of holiday pay (dependent on experience and qualifications) Term-Time and 4.5 day work week with remote work on a Friday (Monday-Thursday 8:30am-4:30pm and Friday 9am-12pm) Our client are a pack away nursery for children aged 2-5 and operate out of a church location in the heart of the community in Addlestone, located just off the high street near to the train station, and they are seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to join their team. The large open-plan preschool provides a nurturing and vibrant space where children are encouraged to work things out for themselves and to seek help when needed. They learn to take turns, share fairly and co-operate with others, with an overall aim to foster a sense of security and confidence, whilst enabling each child to develop and progress without pressure. As the Nursery Manager you will: Play a key role in leading a team alongside the senior operations team and directors of the company Lead and support staff, conduct observations, and training Oversee activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework Enforce safety and safeguarding policies Act as a key contact for parents, providing updates and addressing concerns Help plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities within the curriculum Manage records, schedules, and resources You will need: A full and relevant level 3 (or above) Early Years childcare qualification Proven experience managing or leading in an Early Years/Nursery environment with a coaching approach to developing a team of staff Comprehensive knowledge of the EYFS Framework Proven experience and evidence of improving performance The ability to build strong, nurturing relationships with all stakeholders A passion for childcare and child development Your recruiter for this role is Steve Brennan, Recruitment Director at Love Childcare Recruitment.
