An excellent opportunity for an Engineering/Technical expert with experience working on residential developments to join an award-winning housebuilder in a brand new role for the business where you will have autonomy to make it your own alongside long-term progression.

This award-winning housebuilder has built a reputation for constructing quality homes in and around the North West of England. Despite a tough market, this company has thrived and is currently producing around 400 units annually. They have outlined clear growth plans to achieve by 2027 and are looking to streamline their pre-development process.
In this role, you will be full-time office-based in Chester with site visits around the North West, tasked with creating comprehensive land assessment packs to support viability evaluations. Key responsibilities include:
1. Collaborating closely with the land department on prospective acquisitions
2. Coordinating surveyors to meet project timelines
3. Preparing pre-planning applications
4. Tracking associated fees to ensure accurate forecasting and budgeting
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who has good residential engineering knowledge (including drainage, sewage, section 278 agreements) to take on a vital role within a growing housebuilder offering autonomy, variety, and long-term progression.
The Role:
* Pre-development Engineer
* Residential housebuilder
* Liaising with land departments, coordinating surveyors, and producing planning applications
* Producing land packs to understand the viability of land
The Person:
* Technical or Engineering experience (Civil Design Engineer or Technical Manager)
* Residential housebuilding experience
* Good knowledge of roads, sewers, and highways
* AutoCAD experience
* Full UK Driver's license
