Executive Assistant to Managing Director Type: 12-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) - Immediate start for maternity cover Location: Marlborough, SN8 Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, based on experience Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, office-based This role is crucial for supporting our Managing Director in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The position is ideal for someone who is highly organised, proactive, and possesses strong communication skills. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Proactively manage the Managing Director’s calendar by scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements. Organise and prepare materials for meetings, including agendas and reports where required. Take detailed minutes during selected meetings and follow up on action items. Manage the inbox, reviewing emails and correspondence, ensuring timely responses and prioritisation. Handle routine office tasks such as filing, document management, and expense reporting. Maintain accurate records. Organise business trips, including flights, accommodation, transportation, documentation, and itineraries. This includes coordinating travel for other staff members when travelling with the MD. Conduct research as needed for projects and meetings. Assist in preparing materials as required. Assist from time to time with the operations of multiple sites across the business. Coordinate and track the progress of key projects. Ensure deadlines are met and provide regular updates to the MD. Run personal errands and liaise with family where required regarding household admin and management of the household. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or similar administrative support role. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
