Due to continued expansion, we are seeking a full-time, experienced Project Manager with a joinery background to join our team. The successful candidate will be managing large and often complex projects from point of order, through planning, design development, manufacture, and installation with the aim of delivering superb quality and service, on time and within budget. Projects range from highly decorative freestanding furniture through to significant architectural joinery installations with contract values up to £5m. The role would be based either at our Fakenham or Norwich workshop.
Required Skills & Experience:
A personable, positive, organised and resourceful problem solver who is very much a team player; you will have a good understanding of form and function and have strong commercial awareness.
Candidates applying must possess excellent interpersonal skills to work with a multitude of stakeholders and be able to communicate effectively across all levels. Coming with relevant industry experience, you will have in-depth knowledge of joinery and an understanding of complex site installations as well as experience with Microsoft Office Suite for the management of project information.
The role entails line managing a small team which includes a Design Engineer and Draughtspersons. Experience of managing people is an advantage but not essential and training will be given if this is new to you. Experience on the bench or Draughting would also be desirable.
