Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Denver, Norfolk - Fitout sub-contractor
Our client is a Fit Out sub-contractor looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
Important details for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor applying for this role:
1. Consult with the Client, Suppliers, and Manufacturers to determine the scenic and scope requirements for a particular project, and discuss any issues arising from this process.
2. Produce monthly valuations, control weekly wage booking, deal with wage queries, price variations, manage non-recoverable costs, and provide other information required for successful surveying of each project.
3. Monitor cash collection on a regular basis and report any updates to the project(s) progress.
4. Seek information from Suppliers and Manufacturers.
Qualifications:
1. At least 3 years of experience in Quantity Surveying.
2. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
3. Pro-active and flexible approach to work.
4. Ability to work under own initiative.
5. Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access.
6. 3+ years of experience in internal drylining, screeding, suspended ceilings, lightweight steel framing, insulated render systems, render systems, rainscreen cladding systems, and curtain walling, windows & doors.
7. Attend Mid-Tender, Pre-Order, Pre-Start, and Design Team meetings (as required) - both at our Offices, Clients, Architects HQ's, and On Site.
8. Be aware of the current Health & Safety Legislation and other legal requirements affecting the areas of responsibility.
