This role offers the opportunity to participate in multi-disciplinary projects at various stages of their lifecycle, from client consultancy to delivering comprehensive engineering design solutions. Your responsibilities will include client interaction, preparing bids and proposals, and overseeing project delivery in line with AECOM's standards for quality, safety, and environmental care. Here’s what you’ll do: You will be responsible for delivery of Mechanical Building Services design & engineering within that department, including the production of design documentation, design substantiation, as well as checking and approval of the work of other engineers & designers. Develop and review design strategies for mechanical heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, and other building services systems, ensuring they meet project requirements and industry standards. Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards, such as LEED, BREEAM, or local energy efficiency requirements. Implement best practices in sustainable and energy-efficient design, utilizing new technologies, renewable energy sources, and smart building systems. Perform technical audits and peer reviews of engineering designs to ensure quality, safety, and performance standards. Collaborate with our in-house multidisciplinary team and external third-party consultants to deliver integrated design consultancy services on projects. You will be responsible for mentoring and training more junior members of the MEP team. Come grow with us.
