A Yorkshire based company operating in global haematology markets seeks a skilled Quality Control Supervisor to support quality operations throughout its Asian markets, ensuring regulatory compliance whilst driving improvement across the Company's healthcare offerings.
The role will involve frequent travel to the markets for which it is responsible, with the following key responsibilities:
- manage QC processes to meet healthcare regulations (e.g., GMP, FDA, ISO).
- oversee product testing and resolve nonconformity.
- lead and mentor the QC team, fostering a culture of excellence.
- collaborate with internal teams and external partners on quality initiatives.
- maintain accurate records and prepare quality reports for management.
Potential candidates must offer the following skills, qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmacy or a related field.
- 5 - 7 years of experience in healthcare and medical equipment, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
- proficiency in dealing with Asian staff at manufacturing levels, for which proficiency in Asian languages, especially Japanese, Korean and Mandarin is essential.
- extensive knowledge of regulatory standards and QMS tools .
- excellent leadership, problem-solving and communication skills.
