This is a leading, top 50 accountancy firm, located in Altrincham, which has a large regional presence and a respectable reputation. Following an extended period of company growth and expansion within the audit department, a senior role has become available which presents excellent progression opportunities for an ambitious candidate to further their auditing career.
Your new role
As part of your new role, you will be involved with all stages of an audit from planning to completion. Your day-to-day duties will include supporting the audit team, carrying out fieldwork sections, performing testing procedures, as well as producing concluding reports. Additionally, you will assist with the coaching of junior associates by reviewing their audit work. Alongside carrying out this high-quality audit work, you will receive continuous support throughout your ACA or ACCA studies.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will need experience working in an audit team within practice. Experience in all aspects of an audit and exposure to coaching junior members will allow you to be successful in this job. Ideally, you will be ACA/ACCA part qualified or at a finalist level. The organisation is looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills as the role is client-facing, as well as good analytical and review skills with a strong attention to detail.
