Project Supervisor (Nights) - Fixed Term Contract - Stevenage, England - Facilities Management - £50,000 DOE
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join one of the largest Facilities Management companies based in the UK.
Hours of work: 5pm to 2am - Nights
Contract Duration: 12-month Fixed Term Contract
Role Responsibilities:
* Monitor the progress of projects to an agreed time and standard of delivery.
* Assist delivery of projects through effective communication, ensuring that the staff members are fully competent and trained to undertake key tasks linked to service level agreements and key performance indicators.
* Monitor the safety performance of all supply chain activities on site, identifying areas for improvement and coordinate/manage supply chain on a day-to-day basis.
* Manage the preparation and submission for approval of all appropriate Safe Systems of Work and Risk Assessments.
* Provide regular project updates to the management team, maintaining day-to-day contact with the Project Manager, attending meetings as necessary, and supporting the Project Manager by providing information necessary to establish financial completion of accounts.
* Identify and implement operational improvements to ensure continued provision of high-quality service.
* Raise permits to work and carry out walk-arounds with the Permit to Work Office.
* Coordinate labour, plant, and materials necessary to complete tasks in a safe and timely fashion.
The Ideal Candidate:
* The ability to establish, implement, and monitor high standards of excellence in areas of quality, safety, and operational performance.
* Electrical qualifications preferred: 236 pt. 1 and 2, 18th edition.
* IOSH Managing Safely (preferred).
* NVQ Level 3 in construction supervision, higher or equivalent.
* Good all-round knowledge of site management disciplines (i.e., Electrical, Mechanical, and Building and Civil Engineering).
* Extensive experience in a construction project environment.
* Resilience under pressure and the ability to converse confidently with staff, suppliers, and customers at all levels.
