Your Role
As an SEN Primary Teacher, you'll be instrumental in crafting a nurturing and inclusive learning environment tailored to each student's unique needs. Your duties will involve:
1. Designing and executing engaging lessons that cater to different abilities and learning styles
2. Encouraging student independence and personal growth
3. Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to develop individualised education plans (IEPs) and support strategies
4. Implementing effective behaviour management techniques to ensure a positive and safe learning atmosphere
5. Adapting teaching methods to meet the evolving needs of students with SEN
Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who possess:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
7. Specialised knowledge and experience in teaching students with SEN
8. A genuine enthusiasm for supporting individuals with diverse learning needs
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with students, colleagues, and stakeholders
10. Excellent organisational abilities for planning and differentiating lessons
11. A proactive and collaborative mindset to contribute effectively within a multidisciplinary team
