Health & Safety Systems Development Lead - Full-Time Fixed-Term Position (12 Months)
Location: Nottingham: £72,675 - £76,500 | London: £80,750 - £85,000
As the Health and Safety Systems Development Lead, you will be responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing a range of critical elements of the health and safety management system. Your proven expertise will help to strengthen, re-energise, and promote our processes and arrangements in order to ensure the health and safety needs of our colleagues, customers and any others affected through MTVH's activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the creation, development and implementation of health and safety risk mapping processes across the business.
2. Consult and collaborate on health and safety risk/needs with cross-functional directorates/teams.
3. Review, revise and implement a comprehensive and consistent hazard identification and risk control process within the business (Risk assessment).
4. Design and oversee the implementation of a pro-active hazard spotting system/process.
5. Perform comprehensive review of Personal Safety/Lone worker processes and arrangements.
6. Support general health and safety needs within the existing health and safety team.
7. Provide information and training as appropriate.
What you need to succeed
1. Proven experience in health and safety management system development and hazard identification/risk management processes.
2. Very strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Strong and effective communication and collaboration abilities.
5. Ability to work on own initiative and produce high-quality outputs from direction provided.
6. Appropriate level of recognised health and safety qualifications (ideally CMIOSH status or equivalent).
Due to the nature of this role, a full driving licence is required with business insurance and access to transport.
Interview Information: Initial first-round interview to be a 15-30 minute phone call, second-round in-person interviews commencing from Friday 06 December.
