Premier Work Support's client is looking for an experienced Private Client Secretary with a can-do attitude to work across their Braintree office. This is a full-time, permanent role, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm. The client would also consider someone looking for part-time work. The successful candidate must have private client experience.
Job Duties:
1. Prepare correspondence and documents through audio-typing and word processing.
2. Administer filing which will include daily filing and the opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files in accordance with the detailed procedures contained in the office manual.
3. Prepare mail and enclosures for dispatch.
4. Arrange for all copying to be done, in person if the office assistant is not available to undertake the task.
5. Make appointments, arrange meetings and maintain an up-to-date diary for his/her principal.
6. Prepare the conference room for meetings as necessary and for the tidying and clearance of the room at the end of the meeting.
7. Provide refreshments when asked to do so.
8. Provide support to other secretaries as required.
9. Provide guidance to junior and temporary secretaries when required to do so.
10. Attend to clients both in person and on the telephone and provide support in a professional and friendly manner in keeping with the firm's standards for client care.
11. Undertake any specific training when required and have a responsibility towards self-development.
12. Ensure the confidentiality of all the firm's and clients' documentation and information.
Requirements:
1. Legal aid experience and fully competent in the use of CCMS.
2. Bundle preparation - knowledge of Bundledocs is an advantage.
3. Fully familiar and experienced with HMCTs portal.
4. Experience in care proceedings and divorce and finances, private children, family law act matters, etc.
5. Appropriate literacy skills.
6. Good communication skills.
7. Suitable standard of keyboard and IT skills.
8. Ability to work in a team.
