As our Support Worker, you’ll be at the heart of supporting our customers who have complex Mental Health needs to develop their skills to live more independently in the community. You’ll make a big difference each day as you help our customers achieve their hopes and aspirations. Amazing we know!
Typical day
1. Creating support plans with your customers and coordinating our small team of Support Workers working to the plans.
2. Helping customers with daily living activities such as making meals, shopping, budgeting, maintaining their tenancy and moving onto independent accommodation if they are able.
3. Carrying out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews.
4. Cuppas, chats and catch ups. There’s no rushing from one customer to the next here! Plenty of time to collaborate with colleagues too.
5. Note: We are not a CQC registered service hence there’s no personal care involved.

You bring
1. Passion to support our customers to live their best life, working collaboratively with an eye for detail.
2. Experience of creating person-centred support plans and supporting colleagues in working to the plans.
3. Experience of coordinating and assessing customer referrals.
4. The ability to work on your own initiative, remain calm under pressure and have a resilient approach.

Job details
1. We’re open to agreeing a work pattern with you.
2. Where we’re flexible with you, we do need to meet the needs of our customers. That may mean adapting your start or finishing times on occasion.
3. Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, complete online learning and to collaborate with colleagues.
4. You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
