The Grace Eyre Foundation is a charity based in Brighton & Hove and the wider Sussex community that has been working with people with a Learning Disability and autistic people since 1898. Our mission is to work towards being led by people with Learning Disabilities and autistic people to deliver high-quality housing, support and activities in their local communities. The people we support tell us that they want “good support from kind and friendly people” – so that is what we are looking for.

If you are motivated, enthusiastic and wish to provide a high-quality service for people with learning disabilities and Autism we would love to hear from you. We are looking for Support Workers to work with the people we support in their own homes across & around Crawley and Horsham areas.
Brief outline of the role:
The role involves promoting individuals’ independence by enabling them to build on their strengths and achieve their goals, dreams and wishes. You will be supporting individuals in their own home and in the community with all aspects of daily living skills, including personal care, cooking, budgeting and being part of the community.
You will be part of a rota system ranging from two hours to eight hours per session. Some sessions will be in the people we support own homes’ and some will involve taking the people we support out to enjoy the local community and further afield.
