As a KS1 & KS2 Classroom Assistant you will be expected to:
To support and assist the staff and the school with the educational, physical and social needs of pupils; particularly in the management of pupils’ learning, development and well-being. To work with the school to support the delivery of the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum to meet the needs of all pupils.
Supporting Learning Activities: Assist with the delivery of learning activities to groups of children or individuals as part of lessons delivered by teachers. This includes supporting small group programs and one-on-one session
Classroom Preparation and Maintenance: Prepare classrooms and other learning environments before lessons and clear them afterwards. This includes maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment
Behavior Management: Promote positive behavior and support the school's behavior policies. This includes supervising children during break and lunchtimes
Communication with Parents and Carers: Liaise with parents and carers under the direction of the class teacher, maintaining professional relationships
Educational Visits: Assist with escorting children on educational visits, ensuring their safety and engagement
This role is vital in creating a supportive and effective learning environment for young students.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant in primary or secondary schools.
Confidence in supporting SEN pupils or leading interventions.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
