About the College/Department
The Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Collaborative Outreach Partnership (DANCOP) is a Uni Connect partnership led by the University of Derby, including the University of Nottingham, Nottingham Trent University, Chesterfield College, Nottingham College, Derby College Group, Vision West Nottinghamshire College, and Buxton & Leek College.
About the Role
DANCOP are seeking a facilitator to join our team. This is a diverse and rewarding role as part of the delivery team for South Nottingham. The role of the Facilitator is to ensure the effective delivery of projects and activities in their designated area, ensuring DANCOP has maximum reach and impact, and that provision is relevant and successfully delivered, monitored, and evaluated.
Actual hours and days will be described in a ‘Schedule of Work’.
The anticipated interview date is from 17th January 2024.
About You
We are looking for an individual with a proven track record of developing and delivering activities and resources designed to support the progression of young people into Higher Education. A strong understanding of and commitment to widening access and promoting social justice is essential, reflecting a passion for creating opportunities for all learners.
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including students, educators, and community partners. Your ability to collaborate within a team environment while also working independently will be key to success in this role.
