ABOUT THE ROLE
As an experienced Company Commercial Solicitor, this role will manage client matters to a successful conclusion whilst meeting their objectives and financial expectations. The post holder will demonstrate a keen commercial acumen and a high level of commercial law knowledge.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The post holder will manage a varied caseload of complex matters that will include:
* Drafting standard terms for sales to consumers.
* Drafting and negotiating a wide range of business-to-business contracts.
* Drafting standard agreements including terms of sale and contracts of distribution and agency.
* Advising on internal structuring including shareholders’ agreements, articles of association and share classes.
* Acting on business asset and/or share purchases and other company disposals.
* Assisting with company formations and generally advising on start-ups.
* Advising on data protection compliance including desktop audits and time-sensitive matters as they arise.
* Drafting and advising on non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements.
* Drafting and preparing security documents including debentures and legal charges.
* Ensuring personal legal knowledge is kept up to date.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* You will have a minimum of 3 years PQE in a commercial law role and proven experience.
* Possess exceptional client care skills.
* Be highly motivated and able to add value to the role.
* Be able to operate with a minimum of supervision.
* Possess networking and client development skills.
