Our client is seeking a Deputy Nursery Manager to provide inclusive play and learning opportunities for all children attending the nursery and to maintain a safe, stimulating, and enjoyable environment.
Working under the direction of the Nursery Manager, you will help manage the provision, including staffing levels, and support the aims and objectives of the nursery. You will assist in leading and implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and any other legal/statutory frameworks and maintain staff awareness of the statutory requirements of the EYFS to ensure a safe working environment for staff and children.
As the Deputy Nursery Manager, our client asks that you hold a recognised Level 3 Childcare qualification and have demonstrable post-qualification experience of working with children. You'll have experience of implementing EYFS and have knowledge of legislation relevant to Early Years such as EYFS, SEN, Safeguarding, and the Childcare Act 2006.
Able to communicate effectively at all levels, you'll be an effective leader who is able to work as part of a team and have a good understanding of Safeguarding and child protection, including the Prevent Agenda and British Values. You'll have knowledge of child development and children's needs as well as an understanding of the policies and procedures in relation to equality and inclusive practices.
