Exciting Opportunity for a Full-Time Early Years Practitioner in Plymouth!

The Role:
* Position: Early Years Practitioner (Full Time)
* Hours: 6.5 hours per day, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
* Start Date: ASAP
* Duration: Potential to lead to a permanent role for the right candidate
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play an essential role in helping young learners grow and develop in a positive and engaging environment. Your main responsibilities will include:
* Supporting Learning Activities: Assisting with play-based and structured activities that encourage children’s curiosity and support key areas of the EYFS curriculum.
* Encouraging Social and Emotional Development: Helping to create a warm, inclusive environment where children can thrive socially and emotionally.
* Developing Communication Skills: Engaging with children to build vocabulary, listening skills, and confidence in expressing themselves.
* Supporting Physical Development: Assisting with activities that enhance fine and gross motor skills, both indoors and outdoors.
* Observing and Recording Progress: Monitoring each child’s development and sharing insights with the team to ensure tailored support for every child.
* Providing Personal Care: Assisting with personal care needs to ensure children feel safe, comfortable, and supported.
What We’re Looking For:
* Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification (required)
* Experience in an educational or early years setting
* Experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is highly desirable
* DBS on the update service or willingness to complete a new one
