We are working with one of the UK's leading Transport & Distribution companies, and due to their continued growth, we are recruiting Class 1 Drivers with Freight & Cargo experience.
Role Overview:
This exciting opportunity is perfect for individuals with a Class 1 license and 6-12 months of experience in the cargo industry. Whether you're an experienced professional or new to the field, we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
1. Trunking across the UK or completing local multi-drop deliveries.
2. Supervising the loading and unloading of vehicles.
3. Processing freight documents accurately.
4. Liaising professionally with cargo reception teams.
5. Conducting thorough vehicle checks.
Requirements:
1. Class 1 Driving Licence (new or experienced).
2. A DBS check (or willingness to complete one).
3. Right to work in the UK.
4. Ability to provide 5 years of employment references.
5. Temp-to-perm opportunity after 13 weeks.
6. Shift pattern: Days 4 on / 4 off.
