Within our Enterprise Assurance function we provide management with first line assurance in operational risk areas including Technology, Cyber and Change. Some of our key activities include supporting the first line in managing their risk and control profile, providing assurance through a schedule of control testing and reviewing attestations prepared by management. How you’ll make a difference The IT Controls Assurance, Assistant Manager role is responsible for performing primarily Technology and Cyber control testing as well as other control categories where required, and for supporting Managers in the performance of assurance activities and project work as required. Key stakeholders are Risk and Control Owners and other SMEs across CIO and the wider Bank. You will make a difference in your role by performing control testing to provide management with a view that risk management activities are fully understood, within risk appetite, appropriately controlled and reported on. What you’ll bring Relevant experience in audit or control testing in Technology and/or Cyber. Strong knowledge of relevant Industry Regulations/Standards (eg SOX, NIST, COBIT) and an awareness of external IT audit control testing standards. Attention to detail and a focus on delivery to meet the agreed control testing plan to time and quality standards. Able to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, with an ability to influence, collaborate and make informed decisions. Use own initiative to identify and escalate areas of improvement, taking an active part in the solution. Works collaboratively to deliver the best outcomes for TSB Bank, showing commitment to shared goals.
