Position: Science Technician
Location: York, North Yorkshire
Contract Type: Long Term (Starting September)
Day Rate: £95 – £120 per day

Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and set up laboratory equipment and materials for science lessons.
2. Assist teachers during practical lessons and ensure all equipment is used safely.
3. Maintain and organise the science laboratory and prep room.
4. Ensure that all chemicals and equipment are stored safely and in accordance with regulations.
5. Support students with their practical work and provide additional assistance when needed.
6. Carry out regular maintenance and safety checks on laboratory equipment.

Qualifications and Experience:
12. A background in science, preferably with experience in a laboratory setting
