Job Title: Business Operations Professional

Salary: £47,683 + depending on experience
What you'll be doing:
Roles in Business Operations can vary, key elements could typically include:
* You will lead annual business planning activities for your area
* Monthly review and reporting relating to local cost-base
* Manage/coordinate inputs and reporting relating to resource planning activities
* Lead or support Operations reviews
* Manage/maintain and support local reviews, including preparation and submission of inputs, actions and outputs etc
* Produce topical reporting/status against strategic objectives
* Manage/coordinate the local Business Continuity Management plan
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* Excellent use of IT (eg full suite of Microsoft applications)
* Ability to produce and analyse detailed data and reports
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
* Self-starter with proven problem solving and stakeholder management skills
Desirable:
* Basic understanding of the annual business planning cycle, project control and finance processes

The Project team:
The team contributes to complex national and international projects within the Air Sector of BAE Systems. As part of the team, you will be working using Project Control techniques to support Project Managers in the delivery of large, high value, technically complex and strategically important programmes. The role will provide you with the opportunity to utilise state of the art project control technology and play an integral role in the Programme Management team.
