The Chief Product Officer (CPO) is a key member of the Product leadership team, responsible for defining and driving the product vision, strategy, and execution across the Kainos Product team. Key focus will be on our products that are ready for the scaling stage of their growth journey. The CPO will guide the P roduct team to deliver innovative, customer-centric solutions that align with the company ’ s business goals and ensure sustainable grow th. Today there are over 500 customers using our products and generating annual recurring revenue of over £65million with plans to grow this to £ 200 million by 2030. K EY RESPONSIBILITIES Product Strategy & Vision Define and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy that aligns with Kainos overall mission and business objectives. Identify market opportunities and emerging trends to maintain Kainos’ competitive advantage. Drive innovation by fostering a culture of creativity, experimentation, and continuous improvement. Product Development & Execution Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and design to launch and iteration. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products, that they are scaling and meet or exceed customer expectations. Partner with delivery, engineering, design, and marketing teams to prioriti s e product features and development roadmaps. Customer & Market Insights Build a deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, and behavio u rs through research, data analytics, and direct engagement. Monitor competitor activities and market dynamics to inform product decisions and ensure relevance. Leadership & Team Management Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing product management team. Foster a collaborative and transparent environment that empowers team members to excel. Set clear goals and performance metrics for the product organi s ation, aligning them with Kainos -wide strategy. Stakeholder Collaboration Collaborate with the Kainos team to align product strategy with broader business priorities. Act as the key spokesperson for the product vision, communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, investors, and partners. Financial Management Manage the product budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Track product performance, leveraging data to drive decision-making and demonstrate ROI. MINIMUM ( ESSENTIAL ) REQUIREMENTS Proven experience in a senior product role, ideally as a Chief Product Officer or equivalent. A strong track record of driving successful product innovation and growth. Excellent coaching and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams. Deep understanding of product management methodologies, tools, and frameworks. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Experience working in a SaaS environment, with ERP experience being highly desirable.
