Job Specification: Commercial Vehicle Technician
Location: Kent (Various Depots)
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 (DOE)
Hours: 40-hour week (Monday to Friday), rotating shifts:
* Day Shifts: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM and 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM
* Saturday Rota: Participation required
About the Company:

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on DAF Trucks and other commercial vehicles to the highest standards.
* Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance schedules in line with manufacturer and legal requirements.
* Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
* Ensure accurate and timely completion of job cards and reports.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
* Collaborate with a skilled team of technicians to deliver exceptional service.
* Participate in the Saturday rota as part of the workshop schedule.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Proven experience as a Commercial Vehicle Technician or HGV Technician, preferably with DAF Trucks.
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
* Strong diagnostic skills and experience with modern vehicle systems.
* HGV Class 1 or 2 license (advantageous but not essential).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
