Job Summary
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated ICT Technician to join our ICT team. This is an outstanding opportunity to join our supportive team providing ICT support and services to our schools. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to work to deadlines.
About Us
Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust is a family of secondary, middle, primary and first schools in Durham, Gateshead, Northumberland and Sunderland. Bishop Wilkinson is the largest catholic education trust in the North East of England and will have a total of 48 schools.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have:
1. A relevant ICT qualification or equivalent work experience
2. Some experience or knowledge of working in a technical support role, including hardware/software/operations and systems including network and server.
3. A good understanding of networks and experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP and DNS
4. An understanding and working knowledge of all ICT hardware, and PC applications/operating systems such as but not limited to Windows 10/11 and Office 365
It is envisaged that you will support trust schools within the Gateshead and Northumberland area, however you may be required to travel to other schools within the Trust and must be able to meet the travel requirements of the post (car mileage allowance is payable).
