A well-established family-run practice with over 45 years of experience is currently seeking a Full-Time Permanent Small Animal Vet to join their team. With 8 bright, modern, air-conditioned branches, this practice has always prioritised a culture of respect and camaraderie, treating all staff members more like friends than employees.
The practice prides itself on its busy environment, which offers an exceptionally wide and varied surgical caseload. This presents an ideal opportunity for veterinarians to refine their skills, gain valuable experience, and expand their knowledge. The team includes certificate holders in imaging and emergency and critical care, as well as vets specialising in exotics, ocular procedures, and orthopaedic surgery.
Each day, the vets at this practice enjoy a mix of operating and consulting, ensuring that their work remains interesting and varied. The practice is equipped with a modern, state-of-the-art main Tier 2 operating centre, featuring five surgical theatres, direct digital x-ray, endoscopy, advanced ultrasound, separate dog and cat wards, and a hydrotherapy unit supported by a dedicated physiotherapy team.
Conveniently located near the Pennines, this practice benefits from easy access to six airports within 1.5 hours. It is also only a short 20 to 30-minute commute from Leeds and Sheffield. The area boasts affordable housing options and excellent schools, making it an attractive place to live and work.
Our client is interested in applicants with a minimum of 6 months' current small animal experience in the UK, as well as highly skilled and qualified professionals with several years of experience.
