Our client is a growing national law firm operating out of several offices throughout the UK.
Although they have a national employment team, they are keen to focus on strengthening their presence in Birmingham, therefore they wish to appoint a Senior Solicitor as soon as possible.
The role:
1. To be a senior employment Solicitor for the Birmingham office, working alongside junior members already operating in this location.
2. To act as mentor and guide to the junior members of the department.
3. To develop the Birmingham employment law presence for the firm.
4. To operate strategically alongside the other disciplines which will develop new business, manage, and care for existing clients, and to drive the firm’s brand forward.
5. To appoint a successful Senior Solicitor who is familiar with the Midlands market, and has a reputation of success which will compliment the rest of the teams in Birmingham.
The candidate:
6. UK qualified solicitor – a minimum of 6 PQE
7. This role is for Senior Associate to Partner level (those with a following/contacts are of particular interest)

9. You will have a stable career history, showing evidence of a growing portfolio of clients and referrers of work.
10. Interest in building and mentoring your own team in this specific office.
11. Keen to work collaboratively with the existing people of the firm and team.
12. Cross selling, networking and marketing experience is essential.
