Position: Press Brake Operator - Experienced & Trainee Opportunities

Salary Range:
1. Experienced: £26,000 - £30,000 (based on experience)
2. Trainee: £24,000
Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift Schedule:
1. Week 1: Monday - Thursday: 5:45 AM - 2:15 PM, Friday: 5:45 AM - 1:30 PM
2. Week 2: Monday - Thursday: 1:45 PM - 10:15 PM, Friday: 1:00 PM - 8:45 PM
(45-minute unpaid break included in each shift)
About Us:
My client is on the lookout for two motivated individuals to fill key roles within the team as Press Brake Operators. We're seeking one experienced operator and one trainee who are ready to work with cutting-edge machinery and contribute to our high standards of metal fabrication.
Role Overview:
For Experienced role:
Your main duties will include setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines, ensuring precise and high-quality production. You'll be expected to read and interpret technical drawings, make necessary machine adjustments, and troubleshoot as needed. We are looking for someone with solid experience in press brake operations who is confident working independently.
Trainee role:
This role is designed for someone eager to learn and start a career in metal fabrication. You'll receive training on press brake operation and will gradually take on more responsibilities as you gain experience. No previous experience is required, but enthusiasm and a strong willingness to learn are essential.
Key Duties:
1. Operate and set up press brake machines.
2. Interpret and work from technical drawings.
3. Adjust machinery to ensure optimal performance.
4. Perform basic maintenance on equipment.
5. Meet production goals while maintaining high-quality standards.
6. Address any operational issues promptly.
Trainee role:
1. Learn to operate press brake machines with guidance.
2. Assist in machine setup and other tasks as needed.
3. Develop skills in reading technical drawings.
4. Support the production team in achieving targets.
5. Engage in continuous learning and skill development.
What We're Looking For:
Experienced role:
1. Demonstrated experience as a Press Brake Operator.
2. Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes.
3. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.

Trainee role:
