If this sounds like you, then our client would love to hear from youWe are currently partnering with a mid-sized international law firm to find them a HR Advisor to join them on a 6-month FTC (potentially longer) to work on a big project developing, modernising, and updating their full suite of policies, contracts, and regulatory documents. They are based in the City, and work hybrid (3 days per week in the office ideally).This will see you working closely with the HRIS team, the Head of Reward, and all the key stakeholders across HR to update and implement everything from employment contracts to best practice templates - not just in the UK, but harmonising them across their international offices too.What they are looking for is an experienced HR Advisor with a real passion for the policies, compliance, and employment law side of the HR role. This is a huge and exciting project that is just about to begin, so ideal candidates will be available to start work relatively soon. Duties will include; Develop, create and update their HR policies, ensuring compliance with current legislation, regulatory requirements and best practices. Draft and review employment contracts and agreements - both for fee earners and business support staff, in the UK and internationally Help create best practice precedents/templates, providing solutions and alternatives where required Develop and implement processes across the firm that support effective policy implementation Provide guidance and interpretation of policies to HR colleagues and key stakeholders within the firm Work closely with the HR Manager driving this project to identify and mitigate risks Maintain a strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices Ideal candidates will have worked on similar projects previously, either as part of a Policy & Transformation team, or where it has been part of their HR role. Law firm experience is desired, but they will consider candidates from other sectors with compelling relevant experience.
