What skills and experience we're looking for
The successful candidate will ideally have:
• Knowledge and experience of finance leadership, including planning, forecasting, budget setting, overseeing preparation of accounts and statutory reporting.
• The skills and ability to work with IT based management and financial information systems.
• A working knowledge of Education HR and ability to manage the HR requirements of the school.
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with parents, staff, governors, and external stakeholders
• A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to manage your own time effectively
Whilst you may not have experience of all areas of the role or working in an educational environment, you will have transferrable skills from existing employment and a desire to learn and take advantage of opportunities to develop. You will be able to work within a collaborative management organisation; supporting the Senior Leadership Team and Governing Body with sound financial advice and guidance, whilst taking responsibility for your own area of work.

We are seeking a professional, enthusiastic, self-motivated Business Manager with excellent people skills. This role is pivotal to the organisation, with responsibility for the strategic management of financial operations, the day-to-day management of the school office, human resources, premises and health & safety for the overall management & leadership of our administrative functions, finance, human resources, premises, health & safety and IT systems. We are looking for a strong and experienced candidate who can provide strategic vision and leadership in all aspects of office administration that could transfer into a school setting.
