Maintenance Manager Annual Salary: £45,000 - £58,000 Location: Crediton Job Type: Full-time, Permanent My client is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a team of 5 maintenance engineers in the PCB manufacturing sector. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional who is keen on fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence. The successful candidate will ensure optimal performance of all PCB manufacturing equipment and maintain high standards of operational excellence. Day-to-day of the role: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance engineers, promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Schedule and allocate work assignments to ensure optimal resource utilisation and timely completion of tasks. Promote and ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for electrical systems and other PCB manufacturing equipment. Analyse equipment performance data to predict potential failures and implement proactive solutions. Manage and maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, parts inventory, and equipment history. Optimise the usage of any Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Oversee the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment, ensuring integration with existing systems. Manage maintenance-related projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Maintain accurate records of all inspections and certifications. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience managing a team in a maintenance or manufacturing environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety standards - 18th Edition BS7671. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics. High level of computer literacy. Desirable Criteria: Degree in Electrical Engineering. Experience in the PCB industry.
