As a Children's Social Worker in the Kinship & Fostering Team, you will:
1. Assess Connected Person Foster Carers: Conduct thorough and analytical assessments of prospective carers.
2. Support & Supervise: Provide ongoing supervision and support to approved connected foster carers.
3. Private Fostering & Special Guardianship: Work with private fostering arrangements and offer post-order support to Special Guardians.
4. Deliver High-Quality Reports: Provide comprehensive and analytical reports for court within set timescales.
5. Contribute to Improvement: Be part of Herefordshire's journey to enhance services and improve outcomes for children and young people.

Minimum Requirements:
1. Qualifications: DipSW, CQSW, CSS, or equivalent.
2. Experience: Minimum of 2 years in statutory social care, ideally in Kinship & Fostering.
3. Skills: Strong assessment and supervision abilities with the capacity to produce detailed and analytical reports.
4. Passion for Impact: A commitment to improving the lives of children, young people, and carers.
5. Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent.
6. At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services.
7. Social Work England Registration.
8. Driving license and access to own vehicle.
