About You
We are seeking experienced Support Workers who are passionate about helping others. As a Housing Support Worker, you'll work in a team environment, assisting vulnerable adults with daily tasks and providing support and encouragement as they pursue their goals.
Your Responsibilities as a Housing Support Worker:
* Provide a person-centred approach to support those experiencing emotional apathy.
* Provide weekly support to those struggling with independent living.
* Manage risk assessments and support plans.
* Conduct weekly property visits.
* Provide support and assistance to individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities.
* Promote independence and encourage individuals to participate in social and recreational activities in society.
Qualifications & Requirements:
* Level 2 or above in Health & Social Care
* Previous experience working as a Housing Support Worker
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect individuals' privacy rights
* IT experience required
* Must be fluent in English
* Driving license (required)
