The Role
We are seeking an Institutional Relationship Support Officer to join our Institutional Relationships team. Reporting to the Head of Institutional Relationships, this role will support the management of relationships with institutional clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and assisting in the growth of the bank’s portfolio of UK and Middle East-based institutional clients.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining effective day-to-day management of these relationships, assisting the team in providing responsive and proactive service to clients, and ensuring alignment with internal growth targets.

Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Institutional Relationships team with client onboarding, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with KYC/AML requirements.
* Assist in processing customer payment instructions and resolving related queries in accordance with KFH PLC’s policies and procedures.
* Coordinate client transactions, including FX and fixed deposits, directly with Treasury and Settlements.
* Respond promptly to client calls, addressing any issues or complaints efficiently and effectively.
* Assist in managing client mandates, ensuring up-to-date information on KYC and AML records.
* Assist with the preparation of ad-hoc reports for clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring high levels of accuracy and clarity.
* Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
* Support the implementation of standing orders, direct debits, and cheque book orders.
* Maintain accurate client records and assist with document filing when needed.
* Coordinate meeting room bookings and diary management for client meetings.
* Provide general administrative support to the Institutional Relationships team as required.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
* Around one year’s experience within financial services.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to engage with senior clients and stakeholders.
* Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
* High attention to detail and the ability to work under time-sensitive conditions.
* Experience in Islamic finance and Sharia-compliant banking.
* Familiarity with AML/KYC processes and compliance regulations.
* Experience in financial products such as fixed deposits, standing orders, and international payment systems.
* Knowledge of banking operations and payment systems in the UK and internationally.
