Job summary This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior practitioner to work within the learning disability, mental health and autism team inBirmingham and Solihull ICB, managing and overseeing a small team of LeDeR reviewers and local delivery of the LeDeR review programme.The findings from LeDeR reviews are already driving and improving practice change across Birmingham and Solihull and the successfulapplication will be well placed to develop and take this work forward in order to continue to improve outcomes for our citizens. Main duties of the job The post holder will require highly developed specialist knowledge of the health needs of people with learning disabilities, a sound understandinglocal and national priorities across health services, and an awareness of the impact of these on people with learning disabilities. The successful candidate will allocate and oversee the effective completion of LeDeR reviews undertaken by clinicians directly line managed by the post holder. The role involves working closely with other services to support and drive programme delivery across the BSOL footprint, and requires excellent written and verbal communication skills. The post holder will be required to chair multi-agency forums such as review oversight panels and action learning groups and will be required to compile reports on programme delivery to be presented in a variety of governance forums.
