The role
As a Support Worker you will work on a variety of duties, including:
Promoting independence: Encouraging our service users to live as independently as possible, while supporting them in building their life skills.
Achieving goals: Help set, achieve and celebrate personal goals for each individual, ensuring they progress at their own pace.
Encouraging socialisation: Working with colleagues to engage our service users in exciting activities and hobbies that promote involvement and personal growth.
Providing personal care: Assisting with personal care needs, tailored to each individual’s requirements.
Building relationships: Supporting the development of important family connections and liaising with external specialists, including Speech & Language Therapists and Learning Disability teams.

Your enthusiasm inspires others, and you demonstrate resilience when faced with behaviours that challenge.
With excellent communication skills, you work well in a team and you are eager to learn and continuously develop your skills.
