This role reports to the Office Operations and Events Technical Manager and sits within the Operations Team. You will also work closely with all other members of the wider team.
Purpose
This vital role enables LICC’s growing mission to flourish, serving as the central support to a lively team, keeping track of our friends, donors, hirers and inquirers, and allowing the whole staff team to function at their best. You will provide a first point of contact and welcome to LICC, whilst also supplying operational support across the wider LICC team.

Responsibilities
1. Provide an excellent first point of contact into the organisation, acting as the ‘face’ of LICC
2. Handle all general enquiries by phone, e-mail, or in person
3. Represent the ethos and vision of LICC in response to enquiries
4. Provide essential operational services and office functions to the LICC team
5. Administer all incoming and outgoing post
6. Purchase general supplies and stationery
7. Provide administrative support for other teams
8. Support the Finance and Fundraising Teams
9. Process postal donation acknowledgements
10. Provide holiday cover as appropriate for the Finance and Fundraising Administrator
11. Enter and maintain contact data on our CRM system, working with the CRM and Analytics Manager
12. Manage LICC shop operations
13. Efficiently fulfil all web shop and bulk orders
14. Facilitate on-the-road sales with the speaking team as required
15. Manage in-house event sales
16. Manage stock levels, conducting re-ordering as necessary
17. Assist with the annual stocktake
18. Periodically review postage costs and update the website accordingly
19. Provide first line of support to customers
20. Help support the development of LICC resource sales and distribution
21. Manage the online booking system and other ad-hoc enquiries
22. Manage the electronic calendar for all available meeting rooms
23. Deliver health and safety briefings to hirers
24. Manage hires on the day when needed
25. Liaise with the Finance and Fundraising Administrator to ensure all hire invoices are raised
26. Provide hospitality to all guests
27. Welcome all visitors to LICC
28. Advise and serve any visitors to the shop who wish to purchase resources
29. Provide hospitality for business meetings at LICC as required
30. Arrange the provision of weekly staff lunches
31. Manage building presentation
32. Ensure all areas of the building are tidy and well-presented (cleaning is performed by an external contract company)
33. Assist the Office Operations and Events Technical Manager with supervision of contract cleaning staff
34. Manage all aspects of the staff kitchen
35. Assist the Office Operations and Events Technical Manager and the Events Designer operationally with all in-person and digital events.
36. Set up rooms and refreshments
37. Provide operational support for external speaking engagements, courses, and festivals. This will sometimes include travel and accommodation around the UK.
38. There may also be the opportunity to become involved in other areas of work depending on the skillset and interests of the successful candidate.

Terms and conditions
The role is a full-time, permanent post, based in London with a salary in the range £27,000–£28,000, depending on experience. The role requires working in the office four days a week, with the ability to work flexibly once a week by agreement with your line manager.
There are 25 days’ holiday per annum, with statutory holidays in addition. Three further days’ holiday are given between Christmas and New Year. You will be expected to be available for occasional evening events. A ‘time off in lieu’ arrangement is in place. LICC also offers a contributory company pension scheme and life assurance cover.
This post is subject to an occupational requirement that the post holder is a committed Christian under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010. You must also have the right to work in the UK.
