If you are an enthusiastic and motivated Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) Health Visitor or School Nurse, we would like you to join our team. You will lead and line manage the HV and SN teams in one of Tameside's four Neighbourhoods. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient day-to-day delivery of the HCP to children, young people, and families in the locality, supporting your staff to deliver excellent services.
As HCP Team Leader, you will work closely with the other HCP Team Leaders in the Trust and report to the Clinical Service Lead - we are a friendly and supportive team.

Main duties of the job
* Lead a multi-professional team within a locality in ensuring the high quality, safe and efficient delivery of the Healthy Child Programme 0-19 years to children, young people, and families.
* Provide professional and clinical leadership, and line management of locality teams.
* Work closely and productively with multi-agency partners and stakeholders to ensure that positive outcomes are achieved for children and young people.

Essential
* Evidence of significant personal development, both professionally and managerially.
* Registered independent Nurse Prescriber.
* Community Specialist Practitioner in Public Health Nursing - Health Visitor or School Nurse at Honours Degree, Diploma or Masters Level.
* Registered Nurse Level 1 with active NMC registration.
* Knowledge of Healthy Child Programme 0-19 and Government Key Drivers.
Desirable
* Experience of managing services in a changing environment/Experience of providing clinical supervision.
* Master's Degree or equivalent experience.
* Recognised training/teaching qualification.
