What’s the Head of Sales role all about?
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Head of Sales to lead our sales team in driving growth as part of our GTM plan. In this role, you will manage both SDRs (Sales Development Representatives) and AEs (Account Executives), overseeing all inbound and outbound sales activities. If you excel at strategic leadership, team development, and exceeding sales targets in a high-paced environment, this role is designed for you.
What are the key responsibilities?
* Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of SDRs and AEs to achieve and exceed sales targets
* Recruit, train, and retain top sales talent to build a World Class sales team
* Conduct regular performance reviews and set clear KPIs for individual and team success
Sales Strategy and Execution:
* Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for inbound and outbound sales channels
* Monitor and optimise the full sales funnel, ensuring consistent and predictable revenue growth
* Collaborate with marketing to align on lead generation, campaign strategies, and nurturing workflows
Revenue Growth:
* Drive pipeline growth through outbound prospecting and inbound lead conversion
* Identify and implement strategies to accelerate deal velocity and reduce the sales cycle
* Work with revenue operations to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting
* Develop a deep understanding of customer pain points and market trends to tailor solutions effectively
* Partner with Customer Success to ensure a seamless handoff and a focus on long-term value creation for clients
* Attend discovery calls, demos, and key account meetings to support the team in closing deals
* Leverage HubSpot to track, analyse, and report on sales performance
* Use data insights to refine sales tactics and identify growth opportunities
* Implement sales enablement tools and training to improve team productivity
What would Orlo love from you?
* 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, with at least 2 years leading Sales teams
* Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and driving team performance in inbound and outbound sales environments
* Deep understanding of the SaaS sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, negotiation, and closing
* Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development, collaboration, and accountability
* Analytical mindset with experience in leveraging CRM data to inform decisions and improve processes
* Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage at all levels of an organisation
