Description Location: Leeds or London Location Strategy Project (within the Central Operations) The Bank has sought to increase its presence across the UK to fully represent the people of the United Kingdom and to reach out to wider pools of talent. The vision for the project is to help the Bank better deliver its mission and increase the trust and understanding across the whole of the UK. We aim to do this in the following ways By growing the Leeds office to 500 people by 2027, through external recruitment and relocation from London; and establishing a permanent office Looking at how we use our office space in London and ensuring that the office that is fit for the future and provides a place for all colleagues to be better supported The project will deliver a wide range of benefits to the Bank, colleagues and also to the wider community. Job Description The role is to work within both the Location Strategy Project and Property, and focusses on production and analysis of data required for workplace strategy and planning. This is a great opportunity to play a pivotal role within a high-profile project for the Bank and directly impact organizational efficiency and employee experience through data-driven workplace strategies. The ideal candidate will blend technical expertise with a passion for creating optimal work environments. The role will have the following roles and responsibilities – Collect, analyse and report on management data to support decisions on day-to-day operations, strategic planning and for specific business performance issues. Collate, model, interpret and analyse data, and explain variances and trends related to workplace utilization, employee behaviour, and space efficiency. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key workplace metrics. Provide technical expertise to conduct statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for workplace improvement. Assist in the development and implementation of workplace surveys and other data collection methods. Evaluate the effectiveness of workplace interventions through pre and post implementation analysis. Prepare reporting and management information for senior colleagues and stakeholders across the directorate to enable data driven decision making. Contribute to and participate in regular dialogue with relevant internal and external contacts gathering and synthesising relevant information for analysis. Effectively communicate to influence others through reason and application of policy knowledge. Maintain a good awareness of latest commercial and/or technical developments in own area. Support with the production of regular reports and ongoing management of occupancy data across the portfolio. Number of direct reports: no current direct reports Role Requirements: Essential Criteria Experienced data analysis professional, preferably in a corporate real estate or workplace strategy context. Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel) and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau. Power BI, or similar). Strong quantitative and analytical skills and expertise to analyse and solve problems within established precedents. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in an accessible manner for a variety of audiences. Understanding of complex and technical information relating to workplace trends and corporate real estate concepts. Full understanding of significance of own role and how outputs contribute to the Bank’s business. Familiarity with survey design and analysis techniques. Evidence the ability to be flexible, adaptable, open to change and work effectively as a team player. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task (often operating to tight deadlines). Able to complete tasks and projects on time, with minimal intervention from manager. Contributes effectively and appropriately at team and divisional meetings. Desirable Criteria Experience of space management software and occupancy tracking systems. Knowledge of change management principles. Salary and Benefits Information We encourage flexible working, part time working and job share arrangements. Part time salary and benefits will be on a pro-rated basis as appropriate. The salary on offer is: London ranging from £54,080 to £60,840 Leeds ranging from £48,640 to £54,720 In addition, we also offer a comprehensive benefits package as detailed below: Currently a non-contributory, career average pension giving you a guaranteed retirement benefit of 1/95th of your annual salary for every year worked. There is the option to increase your pension (to 1/50th) or decrease (to 1/120th) in exchange for salary through our flexible benefits programme each year. The Bank has the discretion to vary standard accrual rates and dial up and dial down rates at any time and to withdraw dial up and dial down options at any time. A discretionary performance award based on a current award pool.
