Location: Nottingham
Salary: £30,000, depending on experience
Hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week 8:00am - 4:30pm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk to join a friendly finance team within the education sector based in Nottingham.
Main duties of the Sales Ledger Clerk will include:
1. Working closely with the Management Accountant and Financial Controller
2. Managing the Sales Ledger
3. Raising sales invoices
4. Processing sales invoices
5. Chasing outstanding payments
6. Taking debit/credit payments
7. Managing petty cash and expenses
8. Raising and preparing weekly and monthly reports
9. Dealing with queries
10. Ad hoc duties relating to accounts/finance
Ideal candidate should have:
1. Experience of Sales Ledger
2. Experience working within the Education sector (advantageous)
3. AAT or equivalent (advantageous)
4. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
5. Able to work to strict deadlines
6. Current DBS (desirable)
