Job Title: Partnerships Fundraising Manager (Corporate) Charity: Acorns Children’s Hospice Salary Range: £37,000 – £44,000 Type: Full time Location: Hybrid – with expectation to work from Drakes Court, Alcester Road, Wythall, Birmingham, B47 6JR for a minimum of 1 day per month regular working from the Black Country Hospice based in Walsall and frequent travel across the region. About the role: The Corporate Partnerships Manager will be directly responsible for growing and developing the corporate fundraising programme across the Black Country and Staffordshire. With the full support of the Senior Partnerships Manager (Corporate) the postholder will take the lead in developing and implementing a robust income generating pipeline with a focus on securing, developing and retaining profitable and mutually beneficial corporate partnerships. Main Duties/objectives to include: In line with the Acorns strategic plan, deliver agreed income targets through securing new corporate accounts, managing existing partners and securing event adoptions in the Black Country and South Staffordshire. Assist the Senior Partnerships Manager (Corporate) to grow corporate partnerships fundraising sustainably in the Black Country, in line with annual income budgets. Actively maintain and support existing relationships with supporters to ensure a gold standard of supporter care is received and to increase life-time value. To speak publicly about Acorns as a charity, our aims, mission and create a compelling case for support to varying audiences. To work collaboratively with committed partners to execute fundraising events, maximise engagement opportunities and create trusted working relationships. Acting as an ambassador for Acorns raising awareness of its charitable aims and objectives. Person Specification to include: Experience of fundraising in the charity sector, preferably within the corporate fundraising area. Be able to demonstrate understanding of how major partnerships are developed. Including prospect research, acquisition, and providing outstanding stewardship to corporate supporters of all sizes. In order to achieve sustainable income generation. Proven track record of working successfully in a financially targeted environment. A good working knowledge of GDPR. Experience creating financial forecasts for committed partnerships across multiple years. Proven experience in pitching for, securing and stewarding new multi-year, high level partnerships. Confident, enthusiastic, and able to build relationships with senior leaders in the corporate sector. Creative and resourceful with a proactive approach to problem solving.
