Behaviour Support Worker Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with behavioural difficulties. Assist in implementing Behaviour Management Plans (BMPs) and monitoring progress. Foster a positive and safe learning environment that encourages students' emotional and social development. Collaborate with teachers, special educational needs coordinators, and other staff to create individualised support plans. Promote good behaviour and build students' confidence and self-esteem. Record observations and contribute to regular reviews of progress and behaviour. Requirements needed for a Behaviour Support Worker: Previous experience working with students with behavioural needs is essential. A relevant qualification for working in a school setting as a support worker. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students. Patience and a compassionate approach.
