Job Opportunity
As a Senior Payroll Assistant at Nobilis Care, you will be responsible for managing the entire end-to-end payroll process. You will work independently within a supportive team environment, closely collaborating with our Finance and Operations teams. Due to our continued growth, our payroll can be complex with many variables, requiring attention to detail and the ability to remain calm and confident under pressure.
This role is based in our Head Office in central Southampton, however, can be flexible with working from home arrangements up to twice a week after successful completion of probation period, if preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collect and enter data for new starters into the payroll system.
* Support both 4-weekly and monthly payroll processes.
* Administer necessary changes within the payroll cycle.
* Process payroll using Sage 50 Payroll software.
* Handle payroll-related queries via phone or email.
* Perform manual calculations for any under or overpayments.
* Suggest and implement process improvements.
Annual Salary is up to £30,000 (Depending on Experience)
Essential Skills
* Sage 50 Payroll experience is preferred.
* At least one year of solid payroll experience processing end-to-end payroll.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
* Capable of managing a complex payroll in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Proactive in suggesting and implementing process improvements.
