As a key member of staff within the Humanities department you will effectively manage classes using a range of teaching techniques and strategies as a basis for setting challenging learning objectives for pupils of all abilities and backgrounds. You will be a suitably qualified and experienced Economics and Business studies Teacher with the ability to teach Years 7 to 13, covering KS3, KS4 and KS5.
It is essential that the appointed Head of Economics and Business Studies is an effective team member, who can help to promote Business studies by means of raising pupil attainment, and who encourages a learning experience that provides pupils with the opportunity to achieve their potential.
You will lead by example, supporting learners to achieve to the best of their ability. Applicants will be passionate about planning, preparing, and delivering high quality engaging lessons.
The successful Head of Economics and Business Studies candidate should possess the drive and determination to enthuse all pupils to reach the highest standards. The role offers the opportunity to fully engage in the varied and vibrant array of co-curricular activities, to include being a tutor and enrichment as part of the boarding life of the School.
