Job summary We are looking for a proactive, motivated, forward thinking and dynamic individual to join our Consultant team at Hampshire Hospitals Foundation Trust. This is a substantive post Predominantly based at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital and the successful applicant will provide cover for both obstetrics and gynaecology. The department would welcome a candidate committed to both Obstetrics and Gynaecology with a specialist interest in Obstetrics patient care and Urogynaecology. The post is available to start immediately. This post is advertised as full time, 10 PA post. The successful candidate will be based predominantly at our Basingstoke site (Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital), although all staff are expected to work across sites if the need arises and sessions may well be in Winchester, Basingstoke and Andover. There is a 1 in 9 non-resident on-call commitment providing cover for both Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Main duties of the job All applicants should have completed the Labour Ward ATSM module and the Urogynaecology and Vaginal Surgery ATSM or equivalent experience. Applicants are expected to have been awarded CCT (or be within 6 months of award of CCT at the time of interview) and be on the GMC Specialist Register.
