Position:
An opportunity has arisen for a Clerical Officer at University Hospital Ayr on a fixed term/secondment basis for 12 months.
What you will do:
1. Maintain and file patients' confidential records.
2. Record patient-related data.
3. Manage admissions and book out-patient appointments using the computerised Patient Management System.
4. Provide reception services, answer telephones, and relay messages.
You should be able to work flexibly to meet service demands and may be required to work 5 days over 7, which could include evenings and weekends.
Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
You will have good communication and interpersonal skills. You should possess SVQ Level 2 in administration or equivalent qualification or experience.
